Laurel is in South Central Montana and serves as a transportation hub for the area. The growing interest in this community airport is indicative of the "Laurel Advantage". Close proximity to the urban center of the state creates a demand for facilities with easy accessibility.


Laurel Municipal Airport is located two miles north of the City of Laurel, on a bench overlooking the Yellowstone River Valley with a view of the Beartooth Mountains.

With the current 254 acre expansion of the Laurel Airport, lots are available for construction, including 3 one acre sites . The photo left below shows the expansion project while under construction during the Summer of 2002. "Non Commercial Storage Only" sites are ready for lease. Pick from 36', 40', 50', 60', 80' deep sites and choose the site width to suit!
